Why men never ask for directions...

Men don't ask for directions because they are still in the house looking for their keys.........

Hey! That's uncalled for! LMAO.

That sign is on I 880 in Hayward, CA. It's been there for years and it is the offramp for "A" Street, of course. It could be directing one to "B", "C" or "D" streets, but this one is for "A" Street.

Whenever I see it, it makes ask "Which one? Just any old street? Um, excuse me, but could you tell me how to get to a street downtown?"

This time, I was a passsenger AND I had my camera with me!

AHAHHAHAHA.

You know, I never ask for directions either...does that make me a honourary man? Or just stubborn? Hmmm, I prefer the latter although I'm sure the honourary man award would come with an interesting goody bag! :P

I don't do well with directions, even when they're given clearly. I do better with directions that go like this: Go to Burger King on highway 19. Turn right at the road that Applebee's on (about a mile down). Then go until you see KMart. Go left at Chevron. Follow the curvy road. My house is the one with the large red jeep parked in front.

kate ~ Me neither! Thanks for the link!

muskie ~ nope, it's just the way thay name streets sometimes... like first, second, etc. Downtown Sac has A through X streets.

k ~ What goodie bag are you talking about?

saur ~ I like landmarks, even movable ones, better than street signs.

lee ann ~ It just doesn't get any simpler than that.

I love landmark directions... so much easier to see their signs than itty bitty ones they post for street signs, especially at night.

Love the "A Street Downtown" sign though... you are so right, can't get any simpler than that.
